About Us

In 2021 a group of concerned citizens began meeting to discuss alternatives to the current mainstream medical system.  Because of the many problems in the current system, especially high costs, poor quality, and lack of respect for patient autonomy, they wanted to find a better way.

After many meetings and many hours of research, Beacon Medical Center was born in October 2022!  Our goal is to provide ER and hospital-level care to the people of our community.

Starting a medical center is complex, and there are many steps.  We have completed much of the legal, administrative, and accounting groundwork, but there are still many steps   including conducting further research, hiring of personnel, and aquiring of supplies, equipment, and building space.  We are currently working to spread the word and raise funds. We hope to begin providing patient care in early 2024.
