Information for physicians and other clinicians

Acute care clinic

Below is preliminary information.  We are NOT yet providing services

Our goal is to provide excellent and affordable care for YOUR patients.  We want to help extend the capabilities of physicians and other clinicians in the community--not to compete with them.

We will do our best to provide useful and timely information to you about your patients in order to promote continuity of care between you and your patients.  We will avoid sending unhelpful data such as "continuity of care" documents and other copious and unhelpful notes that are so often sent from urgent cares and emergency departments.

Physicians and other clinicians can send their patients to the acute care clinic for evaluation and management by BMC staff or to receive specific services.  If specific services are needed (but no evaluation), a written order must be sent.

Please stay tuned for more information as we set up the details of the clinic.  See Acute care clinic page for details about services.

We need physicians with urgent care and emergency experience to staff this clinic.  At this time, we need coverage for evening shifts.  Full-time or part-time is an option.  If you are interested, please see our Employment page for more details.

Home medical care

Below is preliminary information.  We are NOT accepting orders yet.

Home medical services can be ordered for your patients for any of the services we provide (See list of services.)  Please note that home medical services are provided by a medical assistant (MA) or similar; they cannot perform physical exams or give assessments.

Order must be from a Texas-licensed physician or other clinician (MD, DO, podiatrist (DPM), PA, or NP).

Please submit the following information with your order:

  • Ordering clinician name and facility name
  • Ordering clinician license number
  • Ordering clinician/facility address, phone, fax
  • Full name of patient
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Details of services being ordered (please be specific)

Send orders via fax (see Contact page).  Please do not send patient information via text or unsecured email.

Once orders are received, we will contact your office if there any questions, then contact the patient to arrange a house call and to collect payment.

On completion of the house call and ordered services, we will contact your office to give any needed information, including providing a written report.
